What You'll Do:
As a Cath Lab Tech, you will play a critical role in supporting interventional radiology procedures, including angiography and biopsies across various specialties. Your expertise will ensure the delivery of high-quality imaging and patient care in a challenging yet rewarding environment. You’ll have the chance to work a flexible schedule—either four 10-hour shifts or five 8-hour shifts—while contributing to life-saving procedures.
Required Skills:
Minimum of 2 years of radiology or cardiology technologist experience
Epic experience preferred
ARRT certification (or eligible)
Valid BLS certification
Unrestricted Louisiana State License (or temporary LSRT license acceptable)
Proven ability to handle 16-20 cases per day
Strong knowledge of interventional procedures and imaging technology
Excellent communication and team collaboration skills
Nice to Have Skills:
Experience with neuro, oncology, or vascular procedures
Ability to float to other cath lab settings as needed
Additional certifications in advanced radiologic techniques
Preferred Education and Experience:
Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Radiologic Technology or related field
2+ years of relevant clinical experience in interventional radiology or cardiology labs
Other Requirements:
Willingness to participate in call rotations (1 day per week) and weekend shifts (4-6 weekends per year)
Ability to float within different lab areas if required
Valid Louisiana State License or temporary license in process
