Join Our Team as a Rad Tech-Cath/IR – Make a Difference in Cardiac Care!

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Radiologic Technologist specializing in Cath/IR procedures to be an integral part of our multidisciplinary healthcare team. This pivotal role involves operating advanced cardiac imaging equipment, monitoring patient vitals during complex procedures, and collaborating closely with physicians to ensure optimal patient outcomes. Required Skills:
  • Associate degree in radiologic sciences (Bachelor’s preferred)
  • State registration as a Radiologic Technologist and ARRT certification
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in a Cardiac Catheterization Lab
  • Current Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certifications from the American Heart Association
  • Proficiency in operating fluoroscopy and cardiac imaging equipment
  • Strong knowledge of radiation safety regulations and quality control standards
  • Effective communication skills and the ability to work under pressure
  • Tech-savvy with proficiency in electronic health records, PACS, and related software
  • Ability to adapt procedures and communication style to diverse patient populations
  • Flexibility to work a 24/7 schedule, including weekends, holidays, and on-call shifts

Nice to Have Skills:
  • Experience with digital image archiving and retrieval systems
  • Knowledge of radiation dose monitoring and safety practices
  • Prior experience in a high-volume cath/IR lab environment
  • Bilingual abilities or additional language skills

Preferred Education and Experience:
  • Bachelor’s degree in radiologic sciences
  • At least 2 years of specialized Cath/IR lab experience
  • Certification in additional imaging techniques or advanced cardiac procedures

Other Requirements:
  • Ability to manage physical demands related to patient handling and equipment operation
  • Willingness to travel, if required for certification or professional development
  • Compliance with all federal, state, and local radiation and safety regulations
  • Willingness to work in environments with exposure to blood, body fluids, and potentially infectious materials
