Required Skills:
Associate degree in radiologic sciences (Bachelor’s preferred)
At least 2 years of experience as an allied health professional
Regulated Radiologic Technologist license in the state of practice
Certification from The American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT)
Current Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certifications through the American Heart Association (AHA)
Proficiency in computer systems, imaging software, and web-based applications
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to perform detailed tasks safely, including equipment operation and patient monitoring
Knowledge of federal, state, and local radiation safety regulations
Flexibility to work rotating shifts, including weekends, holidays, and on-call hours
Nice to Have Skills:
Experience with PACS digital imaging systems
Knowledge of hemodynamic monitoring in coronary or peripheral vascular procedures
Prior experience in a cardiac cath lab or interventional radiology
Ability to adapt communication styles to diverse patient populations
Preferred Education and Experience:
Bachelor’s degree in radiologic sciences
Minimum of 2 years of experience in a healthcare environment, ideally within a cath lab or IR setting
Other Requirements:
Must be willing to work flexible schedules, including 24/7 shifts, weekends, and holidays
Ability to lift and move objects weighing up to 50 pounds as needed
Ability to work in settings with exposure to blood, body fluids, and infectious materials in compliance with safety protocols
Willingness to adhere to all radiation safety standards and hospital policies
