We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Rad Tech-Cath/IR to become a vital member of our multidisciplinary cardiovascular imaging team. In this role, you will operate advanced fluoroscopy and cardiac equipment to assist in life-saving procedures, ensuring patient safety and optimal imaging quality. Required Skills:
Associate degree in radiologic sciences; Bachelor’s degree preferred
Minimum of 2 years of experience as an allied health professional
Current state registration as a Radiologic Technologist and ARRT certification
Valid Basic Life Support (BLS) certification through the American Heart Association (AHA)
Valid Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification through the American Heart Association (AHA)
Proficiency in operating fluoroscopy and cardiac imaging equipment
Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
Ability to perform complex tasks accurately and with attention to detail
Knowledge of radiation safety regulations and compliance standards
Computer literacy with familiarity in PACS and hospital information systems
Nice to Have Skills:
Experience with hemodynamic monitoring and cardiovascular procedures
Knowledge of quality control standards and equipment maintenance
Prior familiarity with hospital safety protocols and radiation dose management
Bilingual abilities or additional language skills
Preferred Education and Experience:
Bachelor’s degree in radiologic sciences, medical imaging, or related field
At least 2 years of hands-on experience performing cath and IR procedures in a hospital setting
Previous experience working in high-pressure environments with diverse patient populations
Other Requirements:
Must be flexible to work day shifts, including weekends, holidays, and on-call rotations
Willingness to adhere to all federal, state, and local regulatory radiation safety standards
Ability to lift and move objects up to 50 pounds using safe patient handling techniques
Occupational exposure to blood, body fluids, and potentially infectious materials in a healthcare setting
Willingness to travel or relocate if necessary
