Required Skills:
Valid Louisiana State License as a Respiratory Therapist (RRT) or Certified Respiratory Therapist (CRT)
Current BLS certification
Minimum of 2 years of professional experience in respiratory and neuro diagnostic settings
Strong knowledge of EPIC electronic medical records system
Proficiency in conducting neuro diagnostic procedures and respiratory assessments
Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
Ability to work night shifts (3x12-hour shifts: 18:30 - 06:30)
Flexibility to work every other weekend and holidays
Nice to Have Skills:
ACLS, PALS, and NRP certifications
Prior experience in NICU settings
Familiarity with neuro diagnostics and advanced respiratory procedures
Additional certifications or training in specialized respiratory therapies
Preferred Education and Experience:
Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Respiratory Therapy or a related field
At least 2 years of clinical experience in a hospital or similar healthcare environment, with neuro diagnostics experience preferred
Other Requirements:
Willingness to work night shifts and rotating schedules
Compliance with all facility-specific safety and documentation protocols
Ability to adapt to new technology and electronic health record systems
