We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Respiratory Therapist with expertise in neuro diagnostics to provide exceptional patient care and support in a fast-paced medical environment. Required Skills:
Valid Louisiana State License in Respiratory Therapy (RRT) and/or Certified Respiratory Therapist (CRT) credentials
Minimum of 2 years of clinical experience in respiratory therapy and neuro diagnostics
Proficiency in EPIC electronic health records system
Current BLS certification required; ACLS, PALS, NRP certifications preferred
Ability to perform complex respiratory and neuro diagnostic procedures
Strong communication and critical thinking skills
Ability to work effectively in a multidisciplinary healthcare team
Nice to Have Skills:
NICU experience or familiarity with neonatal respiratory care
Experience with advanced neuro diagnostic equipment and protocols
Prior experience in a hospital or acute care setting
Bilingual skills a plus
Preferred Education and Experience:
Associate’s degree or higher in Respiratory Therapy or related field
At least 2 years of hands-on experience in respiratory and neuro diagnostics
EPIC EMR system proficiency
Other Requirements:
Shift availability for Night 4x12-Hour shifts (18:30 - 06:30)
Flexibility to work every other weekend and holidays
Willingness to travel for training or patient care, when applicable
Certifications such as ACLS, PALS, NRP are highly preferred but not mandatory
