Key Responsibilities:
Perform respiratory and neuro diagnostic procedures with precision and care.
Collaborate with healthcare teams to develop and implement patient treatment plans.
Maintain accurate documentation of procedures and patient data.
Monitor and respond to patient needs during diagnostic and respiratory interventions.
Ensure compliance with all safety and regulatory standards.
Required Skills:
Valid Louisiana State License as a Respiratory Therapist (RRT) and/or CRT.
Current BLS certification; ACLS, PALS, and NRP preferred.
Minimum of 2 years of clinical experience in respiratory and neuro diagnostics.
Proficiency with EPIC electronic health records.
Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team.
Ability to work 36 hours per week, including every other weekend and holidays.
Night shift availability (3x12-hour shifts from 18:30 to 06:30).
Nice to Have Skills:
Experience in NICU settings.
Additional certifications in advanced airway management or neuro diagnostics.
Prior experience working with pediatric populations.
Preferred Education and Experience:
Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Respiratory Therapy or related health field.
At least two years of professional experience in a hospital or clinical setting, ideally with neuro diagnostics or NICU exposure.
Other Requirements:
Must hold active licensure and certifications as specified.
Willingness to work night shifts and weekends as scheduled.
Travel or reimbursement considerations applicable when needed.
