Shift: Mid Shift, 8 Hours 3p-11p
Hours per Week: 40
Employment Type: 12-week Contract. On-call required approximately every 3rd weekend.12 hour shifts for on-call schedule.
Experience: Minimum 2 years of relevant nursing experience
Pay & Benefits:
Hourly Pay Rate: $54.31

What You’ll Do:
Provide quality patient care in the Post-Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU) following nursing standards and protocols
Assess patient needs, monitor recovery, and respond to changes in patient status
Effectively communicate with interdisciplinary team members and families
Delegate tasks and lead nursing team activities in the PACU setting
Document patient information accurately and thoroughly
Ensure compliance with safety and regulatory standards
Support quality improvement initiatives within the unit
What You Need:
Valid RN license in Louisiana
Minimum of 2 years of recent PACU or perioperative nursing experience
Current BLS, ACLS, PALS, and CPI certifications
Strong communication and organizational skills
Proficiency in documenting and using healthcare software systems
