What You’ll Do
Provide safe, high-quality patient care utilizing the nursing process within the OR environment.
Assist in preoperative assessment and preparation of patients for surgical procedures.
Safely operate and monitor surgical equipment during procedures.
Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and other healthcare team members to ensure successful operations.
Maintain strict adherence to safety protocols and infection control standards.
Document and communicate patient status and procedure details accurately.
Support patient comfort and education before and after surgeries.
What You Need
Required:
Current Louisiana RN license
BLS and ACLS certifications (American Heart Association)
2+ years of OR nursing experience
Strong organizational and multitasking skills
Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment
Preferred:
Previous leadership or supervisory experience in OR setting
Experience with perioperative patient care
