What You’ll Do
Deliver high-quality patient care utilizing the nursing process in the operating room environment
Assist with preoperative assessments, patient positioning, and intraoperative monitoring
Maintain sterile techniques and ensure safety protocols are followed during procedures
Collaborate with surgical teams to ensure efficient and effective patient outcomes
Document procedures and patient responses thoroughly and accurately
Educate patients and families about procedures and post-operative care
Adhere to hospital policies, safety guidelines, and regulatory standards
What You Need
Required:
Current RN License in Louisiana
BLS certification from the American Heart Association
Experience working in an OR setting
Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
Preferred:
Leadership or supervisory experience in a clinical setting
Additional clinical certifications relevant to perioperative care
Basic computer proficiency
