What You’ll Do
Perform nursing responsibilities within the Operating Room, ensuring high-quality patient care
Assess patients pre- and post-operatively, and assist during procedures
Delegate and communicate effectively with interdisciplinary team members
Use the nursing process to plan and deliver patient care tailored to individual needs
Maintain compliance with hospital policies, safety standards, and regulatory requirements
Document patient care accurately and thoroughly in electronic medical records
Support unit and department goals by embracing collaboration and continuous improvement
What You Need
Required:
Current RN license in Louisiana
BLS certification from the American Heart Association
Prior OR nursing experience (minimum of 2 years preferred)
Strong organizational, communication, and delegation skills
Preferred:
Leadership or supervisory skills
Experience working in fast-paced environments
Basic computer proficiency
