What You’ll Do
Provide direct patient care utilizing the nursing process in a fast-paced medical/surgical unit
Assess patient needs and develop appropriate care plans
Delegate and supervise nursing team members
Educate patients and families on health management and procedures
Document care activities accurately and timely
Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes
Maintain compliance with federal, state, and local healthcare regulations
Support continuous quality improvement initiatives
What You Need
Required:
Current Louisiana RN license
BLS certification from the American Heart Association
Minimum of 2 years of recent medical/surgical nursing experience
Excellent communication and organizational skills
Proficiency in electronic health records and healthcare software
Preferred:
Additional certifications in clinical specialties
Experience working in diverse or multicultural patient populations
