What You’ll Do
Provide patient-centered care utilizing the nursing process in a fast-paced Medical/Surgical setting.
Assess patient needs and implement appropriate teaching strategies for patients and families.
Lead and delegate tasks to licensed and ancillary team members, ensuring quality outcomes.
Collaborate effectively within an interdisciplinary team.
Document care and utilize data to evaluate and improve patient outcomes.
Maintain compliance with all federal, state, and local regulations as well as hospital policies.
Embrace professionalism and cultural sensitivity in all patient interactions.
What You Need
Required:
Current RN license in Louisiana
BLS and ACLS certification (American Heart Association)
2+ years of recent Medical/Surgical nursing experience
Proficiency in computer and software applications
Strong communication and organizational skills
Preferred:
Additional clinical specialty certifications
