What You’ll Do
Deliver high-quality patient care using the nursing process within the scope of practice standards.
Assess patient needs and implement appropriate teaching strategies for diverse populations.
Collaborate effectively with interdisciplinary teams, including delegating tasks and managing resources.
Use data and clinical knowledge to evaluate patient progress and promote positive outcomes.
Maintain compliance with federal, state, and local healthcare regulations and standards.
Support unit and organizational goals while ensuring patient privacy and safety.
Demonstrate professionalism and cultural sensitivity in all interactions.
What You Need
Required:
Valid RN license in Louisiana
BLS certification from the American Heart Association
Minimum of 2 years of recent nursing experience in a medical-surgical setting
Proficiency with computer systems and clinical software
Effective communication and organizational skills
Preferred:
Additional specialty certifications in nursing
Bachelor’s degree in Nursing or higher
