What You’ll Do
Provide high-quality nursing care to ICU patients, respecting their privacy and individual needs
Utilize clinical judgment to assess patient conditions and develop appropriate care plans
Accurately document patient care activities using Epic and other software
Communicate effectively with interdisciplinary team members and patients’ families
Educate patients and families about care procedures and health management
Adapt care practices based on patient population and changing conditions
Ensure infection control protocols are strictly followed in a high-acuity environment
What You Need
Required:
Current RN license in Louisiana
BLS, ACLS, and CPI certifications
Minimum of 2 years ICU experience
Proficiency with electronic medical records (Epic preferred)
Strong communication and critical thinking skills
Preferred:
Bachelor’s degree in nursing
Additional certifications in clinical specialty areas
