What You’ll Do
Provide high-quality nursing care in the emergency department following evidence-based practices
Assess, plan, and implement patient care considering individual needs
Collaborate effectively with interdisciplinary teams to optimize patient outcomes
Educate patients and families on care plans and post-discharge instructions
Document patient interactions and care activities accurately and promptly
Use critical thinking skills in fast-paced, high-pressure situations
Adhere to all safety and compliance standards, including infection control protocols
What You Need
Required:
Valid RN license in Louisiana
Current BLS, CPI, ACLS, and PALS certifications
Minimum of 2 years of RN experience in an emergency or acute care setting
Strong communication, organizational, and clinical skills
Preferred:
Experience in a hospital emergency department setting
Ability to adapt quickly to changing priorities and patient needs
