What You’ll Do
Lead patient care within the Cardiac Catheterization Lab, utilizing the nursing process
Assess patient needs and develop tailored care plans for cardiac procedures
Administer medications, monitor patient vital signs, and respond to emergencies
Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes
Educate patients and families about procedures and post-care instructions
Maintain compliance with hospital policies, safety standards, and regulatory requirements
Document patient care accurately and thoroughly in electronic health records
What You Need
Required:
Valid RN license in Louisiana
Current BLS and ACLS certifications from the American Heart Association
Minimum 2 years of nursing experience, preferably in acute or cardiac care
Preferred:
Certification in a clinical specialty related to cardiac nursing
Experience working in a Cath Lab or similar environment
Strong organizational, judgment, and interpersonal skills
