Are you a dedicated Registered Nurse with a passion for patient advocacy, clinical review, and case management? We are seeking a skilled RN-Case Manager/Utilization Review/CDI to play a vital role in coordinating patient care, optimizing healthcare resources, and ensuring quality outcomes. What You Will Do:
Conduct clinical reviews, utilization assessments, and documentation to support appropriate patient care.
Collaborate with healthcare teams to facilitate effective discharge planning and resource utilization.
Ensure compliance with regulatory standards and hospital policies.
Maintain thorough and accurate documentation using electronic health records, preferably EPIC.
Advocate for patients' needs while balancing organizational utilization goals.
Required Skills:
Current New York State RN license.
Certification in Basic Life Support (BLS), with ability to recertify.
Minimum of 1.5 years recent experience (within the past 2 years) in an acute care hospital setting of comparable size and level.
Proficiency with electronic medical records, preferably EPIC.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
Solid understanding of healthcare regulations and documentation standards.
No history of license suspension, investigation, or professional liability claims.
Verification of legal right to work in the United States.
Successful completion of pre-employment health screening, drug testing, and criminal background checks.
Nice to Have Skills:
Experience in trauma centers or larger hospital facilities.
Knowledge of health informatics and utilization review methodologies.
Additional certifications such as CCM (Certified Case Manager) or CCRN.
Preferred Education and Experience:
Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) or higher preferred.
At least 2 years of recent hospital-based RN experience, with familiarity in case management or utilization review.
Other Requirements:
Full-time Day shift, 8-hour shifts.
Must be available for shifts starting on 12/22/2025.
Travel not required; this role is based in a hospital environment.
Compensation for this role is highly competitive, with an hourly pay rate of $65.97.
