What You’ll Do
Provide direct and indirect patient care in the operating room environment.
Collaborate with surgeons and healthcare team members to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
Adapt communication and care approaches based on patient age and needs.
Assist with preoperative and postoperative patient management.
Maintain compliance with all relevant federal, state, and local regulations.
Ensure patient privacy and safety throughout procedures.
Document patient information accurately using computer systems.
Support the surgical team with necessary supplies and equipment.
What You Need
Required:
Current RN license in Louisiana
BLS and ACLS certifications
Minimum 5 years of operating room experience
Proficiency with Windows applications and data entry
Strong communication skills and ability to adapt to changing environments
Preferred:
RNFA certification
CNOR certification
