We are looking for experienced RN professionals to deliver exceptional patient care in our state-of-the-art Neuro ICU during night shifts. In this pivotal role, you will provide specialized nursing care for adult neuro ICU patients, working every other weekend and some holidays under a fixed schedule. Required Skills:
Current New York State Registered Nurse License
BLS certification (ability to recertify required)
Minimum of 2 years recent experience in an acute care hospital, with at least 1 year in Neuro ICU
Prior experience with EPIC electronic health records and Level 1 trauma settings
Ability to perform comprehensive patient assessments with minimal supervision
Strong interpersonal and communication skills
No history of license suspension, investigation, or professional liability claims
Legal authorization to work in the U.S.
Successful pre-employment health clearance, drug screening, and criminal background check
Nice to Have Skills:
Trauma center experience
Additional certifications related to neuro or critical care
Previous experience working with complex patients in high-volume hospitals
Preferred Education and Experience:
Bachelor's degree in Nursing or higher
Recent neuro ICU experience in hospitals of similar or greater size, trauma centers preferred
Experience in hospitals utilizing EPIC EMR system
Other Requirements:
12-hour night shifts
Willingness to work every other weekend and some holidays
Travelers considered only if experienced in comparable or larger trauma hospitals
Reliable transportation and flexibility to adapt to shift schedules
