RN - Critical Care

Required Skills:
Current New York State Registered Nurse license
Certification in BLS (Basic Life Support), with ability to recertify
Minimum of 1.5 years recent experience (within the past 2 years) in an acute care facility of similar size and level as a hospital
Experience with EPIC Electronic Medical Records preferred
Superior interpersonal and communication skills
Ability to independently perform patient care skills and thorough nursing assessments in an acute care setting
No history of professional license or certification suspension or investigation
Not named as a defendant in any professional liability claim
Verification of legal right to work in the U.S.
Successful passing of pre-employment health clearance
Candidates considered for travel assignments must have hospital experience comparable to or greater than Level 1 or Level 2 trauma centers
Nice to Have Skills:
Prior experience in Level 1 or 2 trauma centers
Proficiency with hospital trauma protocols and procedures
Additional certifications related to critical care or trauma
Preferred Education and Experience:
Registered Nurse with at least 1.5 years of recent acute care experience
Prior experience with EPIC EMR system
Other Requirements:
Night shift schedule (12-hour shifts)
Availability to work every other weekend and some holidays; set schedules
Longer periods of time off (>7 days) are not typically granted
Travel candidates must have hospital experience of comparable or greater complexity
Must pass drug screening and criminal background checks
No restrictions or investigations on licensure or certifications
Earn $69.02 per hour in this critical care role, with benefits including competitive pay packages, weekly pay via direct deposit, comprehensive medical coverage, a robust referral bonus program, and 24/7 dedicated support from our team throughout your assignment. Additional reimbursements for licensure, certifications, travel, and related expenses are provided when applicable.
