Job Description:
We are seeking a motivated and experienced Registered Nurse (RN) to join our Telemetry team at Wellstar West Georgia Medical Center. The ideal candidate will have prior experience caring for IMCU patients and possess the necessary certifications. You will be responsible for delivering high-quality patient care in a fast-paced environment, utilizing your strong interpersonal and critical thinking skills. This position requires flexibility to work varied shifts, including every third weekend and a minimum of two major and two minor holidays per year.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide comprehensive nursing care to IMCU patients
Monitor patient vitals and respond promptly to emergencies
Document patient information accurately using technology
Collaborate effectively with healthcare team members
Ensure compliance with all safety and health protocols
Qualifications:
Valid RN license (Single State or Multi-state Compact)
BLS required; ACLS preferred
Associates or Bachelors degree in Nursing
Minimum of 1 year experience in direct patient care
Excellent communication and computer skills
Ability to work quickly and efficiently in a dynamic environment
Schedule:
Shifts: 2PM-2AM or 1AM-1PM
Must be able to work varying days of the week
On call: N/A
Weekends: every third weekend
Holidays: minimum 2 major and 2 minor
Compensation:
Hourly Pay Rate: $46.90
