Job Description:
We are seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse (RN) to join the Pediatric Intensive Care Unit (PICU) at Wellstar Kennestone Regional Medical Center. The ideal candidate will have a passion for pediatric critical care and be committed to providing exceptional patient care in a fast-paced environment. This position involves night shifts from 6:45 PM to 7:15 AM, requiring strong clinical skills, critical thinking, and excellent interpersonal abilities.
Qualifications:
Active RN license in the state or multi-state Compact license
Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certification
Less than 1 year of direct patient care experience
Associate or Bachelor of Nursing degree (preferred)
Ability to communicate effectively in English and utilize technology for clinical tasks
Strong time management, critical thinking, and customer service skills
Willingness to obtain certifications if not currently held
