Job Description:
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Registered Nurse (RN) to join the Pediatric Intensive Care Unit (PICU) team at Wellstar Kennestone Regional Medical Center. The ideal candidate will possess strong critical thinking skills, excellent interpersonal abilities, and a commitment to providing exceptional patient care in a fast-paced environment. This position offers the opportunity to work with a dynamic team committed to excellence in pediatric critical care.
Shift: Night shift, 6:45 PM - 7:15 AM
Contract Duration: 8 weeks (begins after 09/27)
Requirements:
Must hold a valid RN license (Single State or Multi-state Compact)
Certifications: BLS or BLS-I, PALS or PALS-I/PALS-P (must be obtained within 180 days if not current)
Education: Associates or Bachelors in Nursing (preferred)
Less than 1 year of direct patient care experience required
Ability to read, write, and speak English; strong technology skills
Excellent interpersonal, customer service, and time management skills
Capable of functioning effectively in a fast-paced, emergency response setting
Demonstrated critical thinking and analytical skills
Hourly Pay Rate: $46.90
