Required Skills:
Valid RN license in the applicable state or multi-state compact license
BLS or BLS-I certification; PALS or PALS-I/PALS-P certification preferred
Ability to read, write, and speak English fluently
Strong interpersonal and collaboration skills
Exceptional customer service skills
Ability to work effectively in high-pressure situations and respond calmly during emergencies
Excellent time management and organizational skills
Proficient in utilizing technology to support clinical decision-making
Basic computer skills
Critical thinking and evidence-based nursing practices
Nice to Have Skills:
Prior PICU or pediatric critical care experience
Experience with electronic medical records such as Epic
Additional certifications related to pediatric or critical care nursing
Preferred Education and Experience:
Associate’s or Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing (Baccalaureate preferred)
Less than 1 year of direct patient care experience post-licensure
Completion of accredited nursing program with clinical hours
Other Requirements:
Night shift availability from 6:45 PM to 7:15 AM
Contract starting after 09/27 for an 8-week assignment
Ability to obtain required certifications if not already in hand
Must be eligible to work in the U.S. with proper licensure
This position offers an hourly pay rate of $56.95, with weekly pay via direct deposit, comprehensive medical benefits, paid sick leave, robust referral bonuses, and travel or licensure reimbursements where applicable.
