Are you a dedicated and experienced Registered Nurse with a passion for operating room environments? We are seeking a highly skilled RN - OR to join our healthcare team and provide exceptional perioperative nursing care. This critical role offers an opportunity to work in a dynamic and fast-paced setting, supporting excellent patient outcomes through expert skills, collaboration, and compassionate care.
Required Skills:
Current RN license in the state of practice.
BLS certification from the American Heart Association.
Strong knowledge of the Nursing Process and perioperative care standards.
Excellent organizational, judgment, and delegation skills.
Ability to assess learning needs and implement appropriate teaching strategies.
Good communication and interpersonal skills.
Proficiency with basic computer skills.
Nice to Have Skills:
Certification in a clinical specialty (e.g., CNOR or perioperative nursing certification).
Prior leadership or supervisory experience in a healthcare setting.
Experience working with diverse patient populations.
Preferred Education and Experience:
Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Nursing (BSN preferred).
Minimum of 2 years of OR nursing experience, including maintaining confidentiality and working in fast-paced environments.
Other Requirements:
Knowledge of current federal, state, and local regulatory standards and compliance.
Ability to work the 12:00 AM – 12:00 AM shift, providing 24-hour coverage as needed.
Physical ability to perform heavy work, including lifting up to 50 pounds occasionally.
Willingness to work in environments with exposure to blood, body fluids, and potentially communicable diseases.
