Job Description:
We are seeking a dedicated and qualified Registered Nurse (RN) for the Operating Room (OR) at Wellstar Cobb Hospital. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of less than 1 year of nursing experience, with a strong foundation in direct patient care and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment. The successful candidate must hold an Associate’s Degree or Diploma in Nursing, with a current RN license (Single State or Multi-state Compact). Certification in BLS or ARC-BLS is required or willing to obtain.
Responsibilities include providing high-quality perioperative care, collaborating with surgical teams, and responding effectively to emergency situations. The shift is Monday through Friday, from 6:45 am to 3:15 pm, with availability for on-call duties. Candidates must be available to start after March 28, 2026.
Hourly Pay Rate: $46.90

Qualifications:
Associates Nursing or Diploma in Nursing (Bachelor’s Preferred)
RN License (Single State or Multi-state Compact)
BLS or ARC-BLS certification (or willing to obtain)
Less than 1 year of minimum experience with direct patient care
Strong interpersonal and customer service skills
Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment and handle emergencies decisively and respectfully
Excellent time management and critical thinking skills
Proficient in English with basic computer skills
