Job Description:
We are seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse (RN) for the Operating Room at Wellstar Augusta University Medical Center. This is an agency assignment requiring candidates to have experience in the surgical environment and be willing to work night shifts. The shift consists of four 10-hour nights, with varied days during the week, at least every other weekend, and minimum holiday commitments (2 major and 2 minor holidays). Candidates must be available for on-call duties as needed.
Candidates should possess or be willing to obtain the necessary certifications upon hire, including BLS or ARC-BLS. The ideal candidate will have completed an accredited nursing program, with less than 1 year of clinical experience. Strong interpersonal, critical thinking, time management, and customer service skills are essential, as well as the ability to function effectively in a fast-paced environment.
