Required Skills
Valid RN license in the state of practice
Minimum of 2+ years’ experience in Ortho, Neuro, or Trauma specialties
Proficiency in computer systems, electronic health records, and web-based applications
Effective verbal and written communication skills
Strong interpersonal, organizational, and time management abilities
Sound judgment and critical thinking skills
Ability to delegate effectively and manage interdisciplinary teams
Knowledge of federal, state, and local healthcare regulations
Nice to Have Skills
Certifications in specialty clinical areas (e.g., Orthopedic Nursing, Neuroscience Nursing, Trauma Nursing)
Experience in patient education and teaching
Leadership or precepting experience
Baccalaureate or higher degree in Nursing (BSN or higher)
Preferred Education and Experience
Associate or Bachelor’s degree in Nursing
2+ years of recent experience in a Medical-Surgical setting, particularly in Orthopedics, Neurology, or Trauma units
Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association
Other Requirements
Willingness to work a 12-hour shift, 24/7 schedule coverage
Ability to adapt to diverse patient populations with sensitivity and respect
Maintaining compliance with all relevant healthcare laws, standards, and organizational policies
Physical ability to perform heavy work, including lifting up to 100 pounds occasionally
