Overview
As an RN at North Fulton Medical Center, you will play a critical role in ensuring optimal patient outcomes through expert clinical judgment, compassionate patient interactions, and effective teamwork. This position is designed for nurses eager to contribute to high-quality healthcare delivery while gaining valuable experience in a reputable facility. Required Skills
Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in a single-state or multi-state compact license
Graduation from an accredited/approved nursing program with required clinical hours
Strong clinical skills with ability to provide safe and effective patient care
Proficient in reading, writing, and speaking English
Excellent interpersonal, communication, and customer service skills
Ability to operate basic computer systems and technology to support clinical activities
Strong critical thinking and analytical skills, with the capacity to make timely decisions in emergencies
Effective time management skills
Ability to adapt in a fast-paced environment and handle urgent situations with professionalism and respect
Nice to Have Skills
Experience in a hospital or acute care setting
BLS certification or equivalent (Basic Life Support)
Ability to obtain additional certifications if required
Experience with electronic health records (EHR) systems
Experience working night shifts and managing on-call responsibilities
Preferred Education and Experience
Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing (BSN) highly preferred
Less than 1 year of direct patient care experience post-graduation, with clinical rotation hours completed during nursing school
Other Requirements
Night shift hours: 6:45 pm – 7:15 am, with flexibility to work varying days of the week
On-call responsibilities as per unit needs
Minimum of every other weekend work, with at least two major holidays and two minor holidays annually
Must possess or be willing to obtain required certifications, including BLS
Completion of a Wellstar cover sheet for each application submission
Pay Rate
$46.90 per hour
