Required Skills
Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license, either single state or multi-state compact
Ability to read, write, and verbally communicate effectively in English
Strong proficiency in utilizing technology to support clinical care
Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills
Critical thinking and analytical skills to respond to emergencies decisively and respectfully
Effective time management and organizational skills
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple priorities
Nice to Have Skills
Prior experience in a hospital setting, particularly with acute or emergency care
BLS certification, or willingness to obtain
Experience with electronic health records (EHR) systems
Certification in specialized nursing areas (e.g., ICU, Med-Surg)
Preferred Education and Experience
Associate’s degree in Nursing or graduation from an accredited/approved school of nursing
Less than 1 year of direct patient care experience preferred
Completion of clinical hours during nursing education
Willingness to obtain additional certifications if required
Other Requirements
Night shift hours from 6:45 PM to 7:15 AM; availability varies across days, including weekends, holidays, and on-call duties based on unit needs
Must have or be willing to obtain Basic Life Support (BLS) certification; BLS instructor certification is a plus
Must complete and submit required licensure and certification documentation; a Wellstar cover sheet is mandatory for each submission
Maintain compliance with all applicable licensure, certification, and hospital policies
This position offers a competitive hourly pay rate of $46.90, along with comprehensive benefits including weekly pay via direct deposit, medical coverage, referral bonuses, paid sick time, and reimbursements for licensure, certifications, travel, and more.
