Required Skills:
Current Registered Nurse (RN) licensure (Single State or Multi-state Compact)
Associate’s degree in nursing; Bachelor’s degree preferred
Less than 1 year of clinical experience or completion of accredited nursing program with clinical hours
Basic Life Support (BLS) certification; instructor certification preferred
Strong written and spoken English communication skills
Proficiency in using technology to support clinical care, including basic computer skills
Excellent interpersonal, collaborative, and customer service skills
Ability to perform effectively in a fast-paced environment and respond decisively to emergencies
Strong critical thinking, time management, and evidence-based nursing practices
Nice to Have Skills:
Epic electronic health record experience
Previous experience in acute or hospital-based care
Additional certifications such as ACLS or PALS
Preferred Education and Experience:
Bachelor’s degree in nursing
Up to one year of direct patient care experience
Other Requirements:
Night shift hours from 6:45 PM to 7:15 AM, with varying days of work and on-call as needed
Minimum every other weekend work; at least two major holidays and two minor holidays annually
Willingness to obtain any necessary certifications not currently held
Must have a completed Wellstar cover sheet for application submission
