Job Description:
We are seeking a highly motivated and dedicated Registered Nurse (RN) for the Labor and Delivery (L&D) unit at Wellstar Augusta University Medical Center. The ideal candidate will have experience in providing direct patient care in a fast-paced environment, demonstrating strong critical thinking and interpersonal skills. This position involves night shifts from 7 PM to 7:30 AM, with flexibility required to work varying days, weekends (minimum every other weekend), and holidays (minimum 2 major and 2 minor). On-call hours are as needed. A complete Wellstar cover sheet is required for each submission.
Qualifications:
RN license in a single state or multi-state (Compact) license
BLS certification (or equivalent)
Associates Degree in Nursing, Diploma in Nursing, or Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing (preferred)
Minimum of 1 year of direct patient care experience
Strong communication skills and proficiency in technology to support clinical care
Ability to work efficiently under pressure, respond to emergencies, and manage time effectively
