Join Our Team as an RN - Interventional Radiology - Day Shift ($71.28/hr)
Elevate your nursing career by becoming a vital part of our Interventional Radiology (IR) team. As an RN specializing in Interv Rad, you'll deliver expert patient care in a fast-paced, technologically advanced environment, supporting life-saving procedures and ensuring patient safety at every stage. This is a unique opportunity to leverage your IR experience while contributing to cutting-edge treatments that improve patient outcomes.
What you'll need to succeed:
Minimum of 2+ years of RN experience, with proven competence in Interventional Radiology procedures
Ability to perform conscious sedation and monitor all IR procedures meticulously
Current RN license in the practicing state
BLS and ACLS certification from the American Heart Association
CPI Blue Card from Crisis Prevention Institute (preferred)
Strong organizational, time management, and judgment skills
Excellent interpersonal and communication abilities
Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team
Additional skills that are a plus:
Certification in a clinical specialty area
Experience with patient education tailored to diverse populations
Comfort working on-call during nights, weekends, and holidays to meet department needs
Preferred Education and Experience:
Associate or Bachelor's degree in Nursing (BSN preferred)
2+ years of relevant IR nursing experience in a hospital or clinical setting
Other Requirements:
Willingness to respond to call-outs outside regular hours
Ability to perform physically demanding tasks, including lifting up to 50 pounds occasionally
Knowledge of current healthcare regulations, safety protocols, and compliance standards
Willingness to work in environments with exposure to blood, body fluids, and potentially hazardous materials
