Job Description
RN - IDD - Delaware - Driving
Join our dedicated team as a Registered Nurse specializing in Intellectual and Developmental Disabilities (IDD), providing vital support to individuals in Delaware. This role combines clinical expertise with mobility, as you will be responsible for delivering high-quality care directly within the community, ensuring safety and well-being through driving duties. Required Skills:
Current RN licensure in Delaware or eligible for licensure
Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
Proven experience in IDD care or community health settings
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work independently and follow individualized care plans
Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
Nice to Have Skills:
Bilingual abilities
Experience with Medicaid or insurance documentation
Knowledge of state-specific regulations and compliance
CPR and First Aid certification
Preferred Education and Experience:
Bachelor’s degree in Nursing (BSN) or Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN)
Minimum of 1-2 years’ experience working with individuals with IDD
Prior experience in a driving or community outreach role is advantageous
Other Requirements:
Must be able to drive a company or personal vehicle daily
Flexibility to work an 8-hour shift from 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM, starting December 8, 2025
Commitment to maintaining confidentiality and adhering to healthcare policies
Ability to lift, shift, and assist patients as needed
