Join Our Team as a Registered Nurse (RN) - Intellectual and Developmental Disabilities (IDD) – California

Required Skills:
Valid California RN license
Experience in providing nursing care, preferably with individuals with IDD or in community health settings
Strong assessment and critical thinking skills
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to adapt to rotating between different homes and care environments
Willingness to assist with housing and daily living needs as required
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Nice to Have Skills:
Experience working with individuals with IDD or in similar behavioral health environments
Knowledge of relevant state and federal regulations regarding community care
Bilingual abilities (Spanish or other languages)
Preferred Education and Experience:
Minimum of a Registered Nurse (RN) license in California
Prior experience in community health, residential care, or behavioral health setting preferred but not mandatory
At least 1-2 years of nursing experience, with some hands-on work in community or residential care environments
Other Requirements:
Ability to work an 8-hour shift from 07:00 to 15:00, starting December 8, 2025
Must be willing to rotate between multiple homes within a 5-10 mile radius
No ambulatory assistance required
Current CPR and first aid certifications preferred
Availability to help with housing and ongoing support needs
