We are seeking a dedicated and experienced RN specialized in Intensive Care Unit (ICU) to provide exceptional care to our diverse patient population. Key Responsibilities:
Deliver high-quality nursing care tailored to ICU patients, respecting individual needs and privacy.
Utilize the Nursing Process for patient assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation.
Educate patients and families, ensuring understanding of procedures and care plans.
Effectively communicate and collaborate within multidisciplinary teams, delegating tasks appropriately.
Use data and clinical knowledge to evaluate outcomes and recommend improvements.
Uphold standards of customer satisfaction and professional nursing practice.
Manage resources efficiently and serve as a leader within the healthcare team.
Adhere to safety protocols and maintain compliance with healthcare regulations and certifications.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
Graduate of an accredited school of nursing; Bachelor’s degree preferred.
Minimum of 2 years ICU nursing experience, including EPIC documentation familiarity.
Current RN license in the state of practice.
BLS and ACLS certifications from the American Heart Association.
Crisis Prevention Intervention (CPI) certification – 12-month Blue Card from Crisis Prevention Institute.
Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Proficiency with computers, software, and healthcare applications.
Good judgment and the ability to handle stressful situations professionally.
Excellent interpersonal skills to connect effectively with patients, families, and team members.
Nice to Have Skills:
Certification in a clinical specialty area.
Experience with advanced ICU technologies and procedures.
Bilingual capabilities or additional language skills.
Advanced training in patient safety or quality improvement initiatives.
Preferred Education and Experience:
Bachelor's degree in Nursing (BSN) or higher.
At least 2 years of ICU experience, preferably with Epic EMR system.
Demonstrated leadership abilities and participation in critical care teams.
Other Requirements:
Must hold a current RN license in the state of practice.
Ability to work in a fast-paced, physically demanding environment, with the capacity to exert physical effort including lifting and moving patients.
Occupational exposure to blood, body fluids, and potentially hazardous materials is expected.
This position is full-time, with shifts scheduled from 12:00 AM to 12:00 AM; shift length is variable, ensuring round-the-clock patient coverage.
Pay rate of $54.31/hour, with opportunities for reimbursements related to licensure, certifications, travel, and other expenses.
