Are you a dedicated registered nurse ready to deliver exceptional patient care in a fast-paced ICU environment? Wellstar Cobb Hospital is seeking a highly skilled, compassionate, and motivated RN to join our critical care team. This is an excellent opportunity to grow professionally while providing vital life-saving services in a reputable healthcare facility.
Required Skills:
Valid RN license (Single State or Multi-state Compact)
BLS or ARC-BLS or BLS-I Certification (within 180 days if not already held)
ACLS or ARC-ALS or ACLS-I or ACLS-P Certification (within 180 days)
PALS or ARC-PALS or PALS-I or PALS-P Certification (within 180 days)
ABLS or ABLS-P Certification (within 180 days)
Critical care experience (minimum of less than 1 year in an accredited/approved nursing program with clinical hours)
Ability to read, write, and speak English fluently
Strong interpersonal and customer service skills
Excellent critical thinking and analytical skills
Ability to operate technology and clinical equipment efficiently
Effective time management skills
Ability to respond to emergencies decisively, calmly, and respectfully in a high-pressure environment
Nice to Have Skills:
Prior ICU or critical care experience beyond minimum requirements
Experience with electronic health records (EHR) systems
Additional certifications in advanced cardiovascular life support or pediatric advanced life support
Preferred Education and Experience:
Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing (BSN) preferred
Less than 1 year of direct patient care experience in a critical care setting is desirable but not mandatory if clinical hours meet requirements
Other Requirements:
Shift: 6:45 PM – 7:15 AM (Night shifts)
Availability to start after December 27, 2025
Willingness to obtain required certifications upon hire if not already held
Must hold an active RN license (single state or multi-state compact)
