Overview
Are you an experienced RN with a passion for cardiac care? As a Cath Lab Technologist, you will be responsible for supporting complex diagnostic and interventional procedures, ensuring patient safety, and maintaining operational excellence in a fast-paced cardiac environment. Required Skills
Minimum of 1 year experience in ICU, CCU, ER, or previous Cath Lab/EP Lab
Strong understanding of cardiac procedures and patient care protocols
Excellent communication skills in verbal and written English
Ability to maintain a positive attitude aligned with WellStar’s "Standards of Gold" and "Values"
Proficiency in patient assessment, monitoring, and intervention techniques
Current RN licensure (Single State RN License or Multi-state Compact)
Ability to work effectively in a team environment and handle high-pressure situations
Nice to Have Skills
Hospital experience with EP or Cath Lab procedures
Additional certifications such as ACLS or ARC-ALS, BLS or ARC-BLS
Experience with Epic electronic medical record system
Previous experience in a hospital setting providing cardiac care
Preferred Education and Experience
Associates degree in Nursing, Diploma, or Bachelor's in Nursing (preferred but not required)
At least 2 years of Cath Lab experience preferred
Other Requirements
Certifications: ACLS or ARC-ALS, BLS or ARC-BLS (must obtain if not already certified within 180 days)
Shift: Monday through Friday, 7:45 AM – 4:15 PM, with On Call shifts (15 per 4 weeks), including one winter holiday and one summer holiday
Holiday coverage required, including one winter and one summer holiday
Hospital-provided scrubs and protective equipment
Willingness to obtain required certifications if necessary
Hourly Pay Rate: $60.30
