What You’ll Do
Conduct psychological screenings and assessments based on records and clinical interviews
Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team including psychiatrists, nurses, social workers, and security staff
Develop, implement, and modify individual treatment plans for inmates
Perform rounds in confinement areas to assess inmate mental health and adjustment
Provide counseling interventions and crisis management for inmates in distress
Consult with healthcare and security staff to understand behavioral escalation and treatment needs
Ensure all treatments and assessments meet professional standards and facility protocols
What You Need Required:
Current licensure eligibility (board eligible preferred)
Valid BLS certification (or pending) that meets facility requirements
Relevant mental health experience in a correctional or similar setting
Preferred:
Experience working with inmate populations
Strong collaborative and communication skills

This role involves providing essential mental health services at a state-of-the-art correctional facility in Whiteville, Tennessee.
