Pay & Benefits:
  • Pay Rate: $114.24/hour

What You’ll Do:
  • Conduct psychological screenings and assessments based on inmate records and interviews
  • Collaborate with psychiatrists, medical staff, social workers, and security personnel
  • Develop, implement, and adjust individual treatment plans
  • Perform rounds in segregation or confined housing areas to assess inmate mental health needs
  • Provide crisis intervention, mental health counseling, and treatment in accordance with best practices
  • Address behavioral escalation and mental health changes through targeted interventions
  • Document evaluations and treatment progress accurately and promptly

What You Need:
  • Must possess a current US license or be board eligible
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in mental health or correctional settings
  • Strong knowledge of psychological counseling theories and techniques
  • Ability to perform assessments and interventions with diverse populations
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills

This position supports a correctional facility in San Diego, CA, focusing on delivering high-quality mental health services for inmates.
