Join Our Team as a Psychiatrist - ABH - Pennsylvania - DDTT
Are you a dedicated psychiatric professional seeking a meaningful opportunity to make a difference in individuals' lives? We are currently hiring a Psychiatrist for a Community-Based Program focused on Dual Diagnoses in Mental Health and Intellectual/Developmental Disabilities (IDD). This position offers flexibility with up to 10 hours per week, providing a rewarding environment where your expertise can significantly impact the community.
In this role, you will conduct assessments, develop treatment plans, and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to enhance client wellbeing. The position requires a commitment to site visits (at least once a month) and participation in mandatory morning meetings on M/W/F. Required Skills:
Medical Degree (MD or DO) with active medical license in Pennsylvania
Board Certification or Eligibility in Psychiatry
Strong understanding of dual diagnoses in mental health and IDD
Excellent assessment and diagnostic skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Effective communication and interpersonal skills
Willingness to participate in community-based settings and site visits
Nice to Have Skills:
Experience working with intellectually and developmentally disabled populations
Knowledge of community mental health protocols
Prior experience in a community or outpatient setting
Bilingual abilities are a plus
Preferred Education and Experience:
Medical Degree from an accredited institution
Prior experience (preferably 2+ years) in psychiatry, especially with dual diagnoses or community programs
Current Pennsylvania medical license and DEA registration
Other Requirements:
Willingness to be on-site at least once a month
Ability to work various shifts up to 10 hours weekly
Compliance with all healthcare regulations and standards
Valid certifications and licenses required
Participation in mandatory meetings and community outreach activities
