Required Skills:
MD or DO from an accredited medical school
board-certified or board-eligible in OB/GYN
Valid California medical license or license eligible
Proven experience managing obstetric cases, including deliveries and emergent gynecological procedures
Strong clinical judgment and excellent communication skills
Ability to work independently and adapt to fast-paced settings
Nice to Have Skills:
Experience in Level III NICU settings
Familiarity with pseudo laborist coverage models
Prior experience collaborating with residency programs, especially Family Medicine
Bilingual abilities in English and Spanish
Preferred Education and Experience:
Minimum of 2 years of in-hospital OB/GYN practice
Recent experience in high-volume delivery hospitals
Prior training or experience with community-based obstetric teams
Commitment to providing compassionate patient care
Willingness to work flexible hours, including nights and weekends
Must have or be able to obtain required certifications, including BLS, ACLS, and NRP
Travel reimbursements and licensure support provided as applicable
Compensation for this position is highly competitive, offering an hourly rate of $234.00.
