Required Skills
Active State Medical License or IMLC certification
Board Certified in ABIM with subspecialty training in Transplant Hepatology (minimum BE in Transplant Hep)
Dual Board Certification: Gastroenterology and Transplant Hepatology preferred
Proficient in managing post-kidney transplant patients, including dialysis orders and nephrology consultations
Experience consulting on liver transplant patients requiring nephrology input
Strong communication and clinical decision-making skills
Ability to work independently during offsite 24-hour call shifts
Nice to Have Skills
Experience with inpatient and outpatient transplant hepatology care
Familiarity with hospital and clinic workflows in transplant settings
Additional certifications in nephrology or related specialties
Past involvement in transplant multidisciplinary teams
Preferred Education and Experience
Medical degree from an accredited institution
Demonstrated experience in transplant hepatology, particularly in adult patients
Prior experience working in a hospital setting with complex transplant cases
Other Requirements
Commitment to starting ASAP with ongoing availability
Willingness to participate in offsite 24-hour beeper call coverage
Capable of managing multiple responsibilities including consults, dialysis orders, and multidisciplinary collaboration
