VHS is looking for a qualified Physician - Rehabilitation.

Rate is not all inclusive
Shift Details: weekend coverage Saturday and Sunday covering both facilities 3 miles apart. 6 hours of coverage on site Sat/Sun and then provider will need to be on call in case of any admissions
Schedule: Sat/Sun
Call requirements: night call for admissions
Work Details:
• Amount of coverage needed per month: every weekend
• Patients per day: 12-13
• Patient population spinal cord injury stroke TBI ortho general rehab pain management? Not TBI or spinal cord at present
• Department description: inpatient acute care rehab units. Provider will be responsible for admissions discharges and rounding. There are internal and general medicine providers available for acure medical issues. Consult services available neurology orthopedics pain internal medicine
• Case mix — general PMR vs. subspecialty-focused? General for now
• Special procedures: prefer providers who are able to do bread and butter PMR procedures like EMG/NCS joint injections spasticity management with Botox or intrathecal baclofen pumps.

• Hospital Inpatient
Requirements:
• Board Certification: Will take BE or BC
• License required: yes CA license required
• DEA: yes CA DEA required
• Certifications preferred: n/a
• Certifications required: AHA BLS
• Minimum experience required: must have at least 2 year experience working inpatient PMR
Credentialing Timeframe: 45-60 days
Shift Info: Day 2x6-Hour 08:00 - 14:00
1099 Pay Rate: Competitive Market Rates (W-2 Pay Packages available upon request)
