Job Description
Obstetrics and Gynecology
Join our dedicated team as an Obstetrics and Gynecology specialist and play a vital role in providing exceptional women’s healthcare services. This position offers an excellent opportunity to work in a supportive community hospital environment, contributing to the well-being of patients through comprehensive obstetric and gynecologic care. Your expertise will support routine deliveries, postpartum care, and women’s health services in a setting that values quality, patient safety, and teamwork.
Required Skills:
Valid medical license and board certification in Obstetrics and Gynecology.
Proven experience in obstetric and gynecologic procedures.
Strong clinical judgment and excellent patient communication skills.
Ability to work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams.
Familiarity with hospital protocols and electronic medical records (EMR) systems.
Nice to Have Skills:
Experience in low-volume delivery settings.
Knowledge of community hospital operations.
Basic anesthesia or emergency response training.
Bilingual capabilities to serve diverse patient populations.
Preferred Education and Experience:
Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) degree from an accredited institution.
Minimum of 2 years’ clinical experience in obstetrics and gynecology.
Previous work in community hospital settings is advantageous.
Other Requirements:
Availability for Friday-Monday call coverage 1-2 times per month (flexible scheduling).
Certification in Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) and Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP).
Ability to adapt to a flexible schedule based on hospital needs.
Willingness to participate in on-call duties and emergency coverage.
