Required Skills:
Medical Doctor (MD) degree or equivalent.
Active licensure in North Carolina.
Experience in family medicine, internal medicine, orthopedic surgery, or related general medicine fields.
Strong interview and physical assessment skills, including range of motion and muscle strength testing.
Ability to perform non-treatment exams efficiently and accurately.
Excellent communication skills and attention to detail.
Nice to Have Skills:
Prior experience with Veteran or military assessments.
Familiarity with Compensation & Pension exam procedures.
Certification in medical assessments or related training.
Preferred Education and Experience:
MD or DO with a minimum of 2 years of clinical experience.
Prior experience in occupational health, disability evaluations, or similar settings preferred.
Comfortable working independently in a self-managed environment.
Other Requirements:
Provider must have their own office location within the specified radius.
Willingness to work on a PRN, ongoing basis with flexible hours (half-day or full-day shifts).
Credentialing and onboarding are quick and straightforward.
Availability to perform exams with minimal follow-up administrative work.
Travel and certification reimbursements available where applicable.
