We are seeking experienced and committed Locum Physicians to provide vital coverage across New Hampshire, supporting our nation’s Veterans through high-quality assessments. This role offers the chance to work independently within your private practice, contributing to crucial Veterans Evaluation Services (VES) programs with flexible scheduling and competitive compensation.

In this role, you will perform Compensation & Pension exams and Separation Health Assessments, primarily interview-based with some physical assessments, including range of motion and muscle strength testing. You will have the autonomy to set your schedule within your own private office locations within a 50-mile radius of Lincoln and Lebanon, NH, working on a PRN basis with options for half or full-day shifts. No prescribing or treatment is involved, focusing solely on objective assessments and documentation.

Key Skills and Qualifications:
  • Licensed MD or DO with a current, valid medical license in New Hampshire
  • Prior experience in general medicine, internal medicine, family medicine, or related fields
  • Familiarity with physical assessments and documentation
  • Strong clinical, communication, and organizational skills
  • Ability to work independently within a private practice setting
  • Knowledge of Veterans’ healthcare or experience with compensation and pension evaluations is a plus

Nice to Have Skills:
  • Experience with compensation and pension examinations
  • Certification in relevant medical specialties
  • Prior work in a government or military healthcare setting
  • Strong report writing and administrative skills

Preferred Education and Experience:
  • MD or DO degree from an accredited institution
  • At least 2 years of clinical practice in general medicine or a related field
  • Prior experience with veterans’ health assessments or administrative medical evaluations

Other Requirements:
  • Own private office within a 50-mile radius of specified locations
  • Ability to complete exams on a PRN basis, with flexible scheduling
  • Willingness to complete initial training and perform assessments as required
  • Local candidates only; travel expenses included in the pay rate
  • Certification in licensure and credentials must be current and valid

Compensation:
  • Hourly pay rate of $624.00
  • Flexible scheduling: half-day ($800 flat rate for up to 4 hours) and full-day shifts ($1,600 flat rate for 5 or more hours)
  • One-time bonus of $650 for completing required training and initial exams
  • Paid sick leave in accordance with applicable state, federal, and local laws
  • Comprehensive medical benefits (W-2), weekly pay via direct deposit, and robust referral bonus programs
