Licenses/Certifications: Minnesota medical license or IMLC, Board Certification in Oncology and Hematology
Experience: Proven experience in inpatient malignant medical oncology and hematology consults
Patients per Day: 20-25
Support Staff: 1 APP on weekdays, 1 APP on weekends to assist with rounding
Hospital Privileges: United Hospital, Abbott Northwestern, Mercy Hospital

Hourly Pay Rate: $463.13

What You'll Do:
Lead the hospital’s medical oncology team, supervising Advanced Practice Providers
Manage inpatient oncology patients, including malignant and benign cases
Handle all new consults for oncology and hematology
Provide specialty procedures as needed
Oversee inpatient and outpatient documentation (same-day for inpatient and outpatient; maximum of 3 days)
Coordinate with support staff and hospitalists to deliver high-quality patient care
Participate in overnight on-call duties from home, responding solely to oncology-specific calls
Support surgical and medical teams with specialty expertise
What You Need:
Required:
Minnesota medical license or IMLC certification
Board Certification in Oncology and Hematology
Experience with inpatient malignant oncology and hematology consults
Comfort with leading a team and managing inpatient/outpatient care
Preferred:
Privileges at United Hospital, Abbott Northwestern, or Mercy Hospital
Experience supervising APPs
Familiarity with hospital protocols in Minneapolis
