Location: Martinsville, VA
Start Date: 05/26/2026
Shift: 4 days per week, 8-10 hours/day (pending patient volume)
Hours/week: Approximately 40 hours (overtime paid after 40 hours)
Patient Volume: 12-15 patients/day
Call: Beeper only for established patients, very light (2-5 calls/week)
Employment Type: Full-time
Licensure/Certifications: MD/DO with valid Virginia State medical license preferred
Pay Rate: $1.00/hour (additional pay details discussed upon application)
Weekly Pay Schedule: Via direct deposit

What You’ll Do
Manage outpatient Hematology and Oncology patient care
Conduct new patient visits and follow-ups for established patients
Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of providers
Provide light call coverage via beeper for established patients (phone only)
Document patient interactions and treatment plans accurately
Adhere to clinical protocols and hospital policies
Participate in team meetings and continuous quality improvement initiatives
What You Need
Active Medical License in Virginia or eligibility to obtain one
Board Certified or Board Eligible in Hematology and Oncology
Minimum 2 years of outpatient Oncology experience preferred
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
