  • Shift: 4 days per week, 8-10 hours/day (pending patient volume), light call only (beeper, 2-5/week)
  • Hours/Week: Approximately 32-40 hours
  • Employment Type: Full-Time
  • License/Certifications: Valid medical license in VA (or eligible), Board Certified/Eligible in Hematology and Oncology
  • Experience: Prior experience in oncology and hematology preferred but not required


Pay & Benefits:
  • Pay Rate: $1.00/hour (Note: Confirm pay package discussions upon application)

What You’ll Do:
  • Provide specialized medical care for patients in hematology and oncology, managing an average of 12-15 patients daily
  • Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team including three established permanent providers at the oncology center
  • Conduct patient assessments, develop treatment plans, and follow-up care
  • Be available for light on-call during off-hours via beeper, primarily for established patients
  • Document clinical visits and outcome data accurately in the electronic health record
  • Maintain compliance with all healthcare regulations and facility protocols


What You Need:
Required:
  • Valid medical license in Virginia or eligible for licensure
  • Board Certified or Board Eligible in Hematology and Oncology
  • At least 2 years of relevant clinical experience preferred
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills

Preferred:
  • Long-term commitment and driving distance candidates
  • Prior experience in outpatient oncology settings
