Shift: 4 days per week, 8-10 hours/day (pending patient volume), light call only (beeper, 2-5/week)
Hours/Week: Approximately 32-40 hours
Employment Type: Full-Time
License/Certifications: Valid medical license in VA (or eligible), Board Certified/Eligible in Hematology and Oncology
Experience: Prior experience in oncology and hematology preferred but not required
Pay & Benefits:
Pay Rate: $1.00/hour (Note: Confirm pay package discussions upon application)

What You’ll Do:
Provide specialized medical care for patients in hematology and oncology, managing an average of 12-15 patients daily
Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team including three established permanent providers at the oncology center
Conduct patient assessments, develop treatment plans, and follow-up care
Be available for light on-call during off-hours via beeper, primarily for established patients
Document clinical visits and outcome data accurately in the electronic health record
Maintain compliance with all healthcare regulations and facility protocols
What You Need: Required:
Valid medical license in Virginia or eligible for licensure
Board Certified or Board Eligible in Hematology and Oncology
At least 2 years of relevant clinical experience preferred
Strong communication and teamwork skills
Preferred:
Long-term commitment and driving distance candidates
Prior experience in outpatient oncology settings
