Join Our Team as a Locum Physician in Radiation Oncology – Lima, OH!

Are you a dedicated Radiation Oncologist looking to make a meaningful impact while enjoying flexible scheduling? Bon Secours St. Ritas Cancer Center in Lima, Ohio, is seeking skilled locum physicians to provide exceptional outpatient cancer care at our state-of-the-art facilities. This is an exciting opportunity to work with a supportive team, cover multiple dates throughout the year, and help ensure our patients receive the best possible treatment.

What You’ll Do:
  • Provide comprehensive radiation oncology services at Bon Secours St. Ritas Cancer Center and Grand Lake Regional Cancer Center.
  • Deliver specialized procedures including External Beam Radiation (3D-CRT, IMRT, IGRT), Stereotactic Radiosurgery, SBRT, and more.
  • Collaborate with a team of dedicated physicians and APPs to deliver top-tier outpatient care.
  • Order tests, procure imaging, and prescribe treatments for adult patients in a hospital-based and outpatient setting.
  • Support patient care during scheduled coverage periods, ensuring seamless continuity of treatment.

Required Skills:
  • State medical license and board certification in Radiation Oncology.
  • Proven experience with a range of radiation therapy procedures, including SRS, SBRT, IMRT, and IGRT.
  • Strong clinical judgment and excellent communication skills.
  • Ability to adapt to different EMR systems (Mosaiq, Epic).
  • Reliable and organized with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Nice to Have Skills:
  • Previous locum or coverage experience in outpatient and hospital-based oncology settings.
  • Experience working in a multi-disciplinary team environment.
  • Familiarity with current radiation oncology technologies and practices.

Preferred Education and Experience:
  • MD or DO degree from an accredited medical school.
  • Fellowship or significant experience in radiation oncology.
  • At least 2 years of post-residency clinical practice preferred.

Other Requirements:
  • Must be available to work scheduled coverage dates, starting as early as June 29, 2026, with a commitment of at least 2 weeks per month.
  • Credentialing expected to take 3-4 months; arrangements for travel, lodging, and reimbursements included.
  • Ability to work comfortably with EMRs (Mosaiq, Epic) and deliver patient-focused care.
